POSTING ARTICLES:

Let's post an article by LeftNav->News->PostNews. You must have 'admin' privileges for that. If that feels too restrictive, it should comfort you to know that enforcing privileges is a very straightforward process in the application definition file; we will help you to modify it if it comes to that.

Posting an article uses all the familiar tools and windows. If we post the now infamous 'cats' article, the posting process will do the two things we discussed many times, and put us back into the News page in the same familiar fashion:

'more' links at the bottom of the articles will take us to the full article. Once you are on the full article window, you may use navigation arrows on the upper right corner to visit prior articles.

Although there is only a single News application here, it is a straightforward to create multiple article chains belonging different categories as you may have guessed.

Determining the size of the article content to display in the News window is also done by configuring the application definition file, and may be modified in run-time.
