UPDATING PRODUCTS:

There are times we would want to modify a product record directly. Sale price, inventory amount, cost basis are such candidates for frequent changes.

Updating a product requires sales privilege. Product Details window will render an 'Update' button at the bottom if the user has this privilage:

Click on 'Update'. All the known information about the product will be displayed in a form where input fields are pre-filled. Simply modify the desired fields and 'Submit'. The changes will be updated in the backend, and the browser will be furnished with the new 'Product Details'.

Now that we have tackled the issues with product search, update, shopping cart, order processing, etc. etc., aren't we forgetting something? How did these products get into the system at the first place?
